My Take on Kama Ayurveda Products

Kama ayurveda is one brand that I am in love with at the moment. There are a lot of reasons as to why I love it. No artificial colours, no artificial fragrance, no animal ingredients, no petrochemicals, parabens, urea, propylene glycol or sulphates and its not animal-tested. And that’s not all, they do wonders to my skin and hair, smell heavenly and to top it all their packaging is just beautifully right.

So here is my take on the products I have used from Kama Ayurveda.

Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment Oil

This is the best and my favorite product from Kama Ayurveda. I apply this oil for about two hours before I wash my hair. This oil is not very sticky or greasy. However you definitely cannot ignore the smell but I can live with it for the result it shows.  After wash, my hair is a lot more manageable . It actually looks healthier. There is an added natural shine to the hair and it looks stunning.

Kama Ayurveda Sensitive Cleansing Foam Face Wash

This is my next favorite product from Kama Ayurveda. I use two to three pumps and gently massage it over my face. This face wash has a soothing sandalwood smell to it which is very relaxing. Once I use this face wash there is an instant noticeable glow on my face and my skin does not feel dry. Definite repurchase.

 Kama Rose Water

This is one product I will keep going back to. I love how its packaged in a spray bottle which make it easy to use at all times. I usually use it as a face toner after washing my face and also use it as a face mist. This is one of the best rose water I have used so far. The smell of this rose  water is not very strong and it has a pleasing fragrance to it . This product is not diluted just like the other products available in the market.   Kama Ayurveda’s rose water is made from the roses of Kannauj – The Kannauj rose is considered special due to its similarity to the Bulgarian rose.

Price –  Rs.250 (50 ML) & Rs.950 (200 ML)

Kama Rose & Jasmine Face Cleanser

I love how calming this smells which soothes my nerves. It is a very balanced face cleanser, it doesn’t strip my face from oils the way other face washes can tend to do, but  leaves it fresh and clean without making it fell tight. I would prefer the sensitive cleaning face wash over this as it adds a glow to my face.

Traditional Treatment Soap

All the three soaps smell heavenly and leave my skin feeling smooth.

Red Sandalwood Soap is my personal favorite from the three of them as it helped my skin when it had breakouts due to excessive heat. This  soap is made with natural red sandalwood and pure sandalwood oil and it helps in skin issues like acne, sunburns and blemishes. Sugar & Tamarind Ayurvedic Deep Cleansing Soap has raw Cane Sugar extract polishes the skin and stimulates circulation for renewed cellular growth. Soap Nut, an Ayurvedic foaming ingredient lifts away dirt and oil. Natural Beeswax along with Castor and Organic Coconut Oils add to the creamy lather and keep skin moisturized and healthy. Turmeric & Myrrh Skin Brightening soap is an Ayurvedic cleansing treatment for dull, damaged and hyper-pigmented skin.Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent that lightens skin tone, reduces pigmentation and heals blemishes.

Price – Rs.470

The price of the products by Kama is on the higher side but for the miracle it does to my skin, it is totally worth the money I spend on it.

As it is said “Cheap things are not good and good things are never cheap”.
